Gaia's veins once again flow with its lustrous oil

Mile after mile and the sun’s in our face, never knowing nothing, never sensing it, but the road kills, the road kill after road kill, the clouds above, the wind-chill. Storm is drawing nearer, the deer’s and the birds have gone restless and worried. The deep blue sky’s foreseeing tragedies as it is threatening drawing nearer; towards defenceless fields, bending down for the all covering darkness, and the cold wet forests, once warm and sungazed, welcoming, embracing, now whispers no, no, do not hide in here. You bring misfortune, famine and ultimately death. For it is our end that they sense, yours and mine, they are shaking us off, like flees - do not drag us down with you! Screaming our way - and now, sleep in your bed mankind. Out in the cold, shaking.
